Episode 253 of The Smart Agents Podcast, Reno-based team leader and investor Scott Durham shares how he went from struggling new agent to building a thriving business that spans team leadership, flipping properties, and long-term investing.

Launching his real estate career in 2004 Scott hit roadblocks early on—trying everything from cold calling to coaching programs with little success. But once he leaned into online marketing and lead generation, things started to click. He scaled to 70+ deals a year, built a lean, supportive team and eventually realized he was leaving massive wealth-building opportunities on the table by not investing in the very deals he was helping clients find.
